Photostory…..Nice Monday night. I along with my friend on a late night ride on KTM Duke 200 stopped by at roadside Tea stall near Railway station.
Tea, late night ride and Bikes is an amazing experience though everyone can not subscribe to it.
For few, tea is a drink and for few, it is just part of life. You cannot resist to it. Aroma of tea and ginger made those moments more relaxed. Although if you are living in northern India then this experience could get double. And to do so one need KULLAHAD. A small pot made of clay. It plays the different purpose in different parts of India. The Smell of clay makes sipping tea more palatable.
Only at railway station we could get tea after late night ride. But these roadside tea stalls have their own aroma and voodoo.
Tea is part of life. It kicks starts my day and also ends it too. A rainy day and riding motorcycle to nearest tea stall have its own space in my mind. It makes you relaxed and contented. And KTM is best to make my memories more memorable.
A day without tea is a day without joy.
KTM has finally pulled the wraps off their most anticipated motorcycles-duke 200 and duke390. Both of them were much awaited but KTM pulled out another surprise for their customer and played a well-planned gamble by launching a KTM 250. It has got the best styling but lost ride by wire feature. But what is it about the KTM 390 that make them stand apart from the crowd?
We list 5 features about these KTM 390 that you ought to know-
The KTM duke 390 are designed on the lines of KTM’s purebred superbikes — the KTM super Duke 1290. The manufacturer has incorporated all the major elements of super Duke into the new bikes, making them highly enthralling and tempting for prospective buyers. From the fairing to the sharp and sporty rear end, the bike simply looks impeccable.
KTM Duke 390 are powered by mono-cylinder, 4-stroke, water-cooled engine with a displacement 373.2cc respectively. This machine is the most powerful options available in sub 500cc category. The Duke 390 dishes out an astonishing 45bhp of power.
390 Duke now carries a Super Duke inspired headlamp assembly with LED lights. The structure has been divided into two parts and 6 LEDs have been used in total. The pass may activate both at the same time, throwing a strong beam of crystal clear, focused light on the road. The surrounding of the headlight is actually a horn-shaped DRL on the motorcycle. Even the low beam would be always on like the current series of KTM motorcycle.
- Full TFT Instrument Console
Unlike the current generation’s full digital instrument console, the 2017 KTM 390 Duke features rectangular, colored display with more ease in terms of readability and content. It will enable the rider to even pair a smartphone through optional KTM MY Ride package. The buttons on the left handlebars are actually placed for easy operation of the console.
Introducing Ride by Wire on the new KTM 390 Duke was the best thing KTM did to the favorite bike in their Indian lineup. They have no yet provided extensive features based on the same, including cruise control or traction control but the effect can be seen in the way the motorcycle rides in its 2017 version. It will sip the right amount of fuel and deliver power smoothly across the rev-band. It even opens the future possibility of using riding modes in the motorcycle of such class.
The bike has become safer and practical. Ride by wire has enhanced the performance. Although this new bike is 10kg heavier than the previous one and also there is a reduction of 1.5bhp but the increased torque has made this bike super fun to ride. So this motorbike is enough to ride to increase the adrenaline.
